About Me

Ever since I can recall I had a burning desire to understand how things functioned. My first recollection of this desire was when I received the game "Operation" when I was approximately seven years old. I played the game for about thirty minutes and became bored. I then decided to take the game apart to understand just exactly how it worked. To me, this was much more fun than playing the game! Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Math were my favorite classes in high school. After high school I served in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Crew Chief). I've been tinkering with Linux since around 1999. Mandrake was my first installation of a Linux distribution. Since then I've tried several distributions but have settled on Arch Linux as my favorite.

I have a Master of Science in Software Engineering and Database Technologies as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
